I Got My Halo

Bipolar and Depression are awful diseases. Have you ever felt sad, not wanting to do nothing? Wanting
to lay down and never get up? Feelings of not being good enough? Wanting to end your life. The suicidal
craving that overwhelms your mind and soul. A thought in your mind and you just can’t get it out of your
head. Ever had a tune stuck in your mind and you can’t shut it off? It plays over and over until it drives
you crazy. If I can just stop this thought for just a minute. Then you snap and do something stupid and
try to commit sucide. Gilda attempted just that, trying to make the voices and thoughts in her mind to
just stop for one minute. Gilda, my wife, was manic bipolar depressive. It sucked the happiness out of
her life. It broke her will to want to live. Many times in her life tragedy was avoided. Her attempts failed
to end her life. Her soul was broken but God mended her heart. My book walks you through her life and
how God played a role in the end to revive her. I truly believe the Lord allows trouble and trials in a
person’s life. Through Gilda’s struggles the Lord was glorified. Through prayer the healing transformed
Gilda’s life. Gave us two of the most wonderful years we ever had of a normal life. Enabled Gilda
to pursue a life in Christ. Allowing God to be in control of her life. This was Gilda’s whole life
achievement just to become NORMAL. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and guidance Gilda was
able to influence many people to come closer to the Lord. Including me to repent of my sins and draw
closer to God. This book is dedicated to the life and Memory of Gilda Dunn Mabrey
